The number of COVID-19 cases within Manitoba has taken a turn for the worse. Effective Monday, November 2, Winnipeg Metropolitan Region will be formally at a Code RED level, with the rest of the province upgraded to a Code Orange – as indicated and established by Manitoba Public Health. 

Throughout the pandemic, Manitoba’s construction industry has been deemed an essential service. This means that Manitoba Building Trades members – the unionized construction labour force – will be continuing to work at job sites across the province. 

Earlier this spring we had released COVID-19 resources for our members and contractors. With cases on the rise, we have launched a new COVID-19 information page for our members and industry stakeholders with links to the latest resources and the MANITOBA CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY SAFETY GUIDANCE DOCUMENT.
